Hello everybody, I’m not dead yet, in fact, I’m very much living life right now. For some, life is jumping out of airplanes, and for others, life is eating great food and dancing. The way I live life is being constantly surprised by how things happen and waiting for the next big thing to come along. To think that we take many things for granted, this trip has been amazing and the official “fun” part hasn’t even started.
Right now Nik and I are about to “go away”, yeah, even more away than we already were. We are getting ready for the Ozfest, starring Mr.Vorobiev and myself.
We already left our Valley home, so, no more sending flowers to the 2 Berwick Street, you hear me? It’s costing me a fortune to forward my mail.
The Berwick apt. has been our home for seven months already. It’s strange how I feel as if I had arrived yesterday, yet I miss you all very much. I tell myself you guys are freezing over there and I feel a bit better about my situation, still with the holiday’s around the corner I want to tell you I’m very lucky to have met you all of you and I hope we can reconnect once I’m back.
Unlike other statements I’ve said in other occasions, this I mean it.
So what is in store for Nik and Adry on the next few months?
First stop, Fraser Island, where you will find, crocodiles and sharks in the sea, dingoes in land and lots of soft sand to bog your car. Hopefully we will survive this. I’m sure we’ll be fine.
Then, we are heading down the coast of NSW( New South Wales) and spend maybe a long weekend in glitzy Sydney. Then up to the coast again to Melbourne (this I’m looking forward like crazy), then ferry to Tasmania and back, followed by the Great Ocean Road towards Adelaide. If we survive that we will head West to Perth, but we’ll take our time, you see, Australia is HUGE. Last we’ll be back to sunny QLD (Queensland) to say our good byes and head home.
We’ll be arriving May 14th, so I absolutely expect fireworks and champagne on the 20th when I’m off jetlag.
So, since I have neglected this blog for a while I’ll churn a couple-o- posts to catch up, hopefully I’ll have plenty of time to type while Nik drives on the Nullarbor desert.
See ya lataaa mates…
I would never judge you eating Yorkshire Pudding... It may be one of the best things on this earth.
